This is a lie! Barros Schelotto can prevent florist friars, or forest fires and he doesn't need any help from geriatric gigolos!
Just one more reason to love this team: http://blog.dispatch.com/crew/2010/08/duncan_oughton_auto_thief.shtml Schelotto stopped running and grew thoughtful. "Yes, I did miss the penalty," Schelotto said, resigned to the notion that this transgression meant that Oughton would acquire his car. Schelotto looked sadly toward the old pick-up. "I need the keys," he said. ------- Then, evidently, he used his superhuman mindbeam to force Oughton to return his car. To Barros Schelotto!!
Once, while taking a break from Tommy Lee, Pam Anderson stumbled into the away locker room at Home Depot Center while GBS was showering and our club's nickname was born as in a quivering awe-struck voice she mumbled,"MASSIVE!" To Barros Schelotto!
Barros Schelotto taught me how to love a woman and scold a child, I once saw him shoot a syringe of whiskey into his neck! To Barros Schelotto, the most Massive man in Columbus! RETIRE NUMBER 7!
This one time, Schelotto attempted the impossible and asked to play another year. Instead, and for the first time, his team "say only that they want to make a new team with young players and don't have a place in the roster." He didn't want to talk a lot. The situation is uncomfortable for everybody. They asked him if he wanted to retire. He said to them, "I want to stay here." Then went on to ask if they wanted to make a new team with young players. To which, Schelotto replied, "It's OK. I am not so young so I can understand." To Barros Schelotto.
When I see this Commerical I think of Barros Schelotto [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Bc0WjTT0Ps"]YouTube - Most Interesting Man In The World[/ame] To Barros Schelotto the most interesting man in the world.
He made the players around him play better, he made a franchise left for dead a champion, he gave the Nordecke a reason to exist, he brought us two shields and a Cup, he came from being a legend on a legendary team and became one here in a short time, he became the MVP of a nations premier league when most players careers are done, he made one of the longest years of my life worthwhile by giving me something to believe in and cheer for, he is the single greatest player to ever wear the Crew crest and colors. Here is to Guillermo Barros Schelotto.
I was up at the stadium today, as I entered the gates, they were taking down his banner...the official end of his short lived era with Columbus.... To Barros Schelotto....
Last I checked, there was some sort of discrepency for Gimnasia and a foul I think he won them in the box. Dunno if it was called or not, Was channel surfing when I caught that on Tyc. From what I heard though they are shocked at how quick he still is they say, and his shape. MLS BABY! Lol
Ironic that his speed, or lack thereof (depending on who you ask), is one of the big reasons he's gone.
