Wow, practically the WC squad, guess the younger guys didn't impress much in the last friendly.

You're right, Brihodge, but... on the other hand that's really great, because if they had really impressed, who should have played for the "Team 2006"?

(thinking if I should post an own thread for this team's match, or just include it here...hm)

Default EC qualifier #1: Lithuania vs Germany, 9/7 (R)

The lineup is not that surprising given that this is the very beginning of qualifiers. Rudi won't want to take big risks in actual qualifiers until Germany has a solid lead.

Linke is the surprise to me. I guess I just under-rate him.

Also, I thought that Deisler was healthy, but have not seen him in recent Bayern lineups and he is not listed below.

I believe that Deisler is still recuperating and is not expected to play for Bayern until after the winter break (and therefore would not likely be selected for NT games for some time after that).

Linke is something like a standby national player. He's just coming in important emergency cases. Regarding Deisler read wolfsburgh's comment.

The only ones I'm complaining about are Hertzsch (no international standard, even Friedrich with 3 BL games is better), Jancker (no season game/no shape yet), Zickler (no regular player) and Asamoah (no shape/used as defender in Schalke).

So, your opinion on the hot yesterday issues:

- which players of Viktoria Köln make it to the 2006 roster?
- who was having sex with Claudia Strunz-Effenberg on the tribune while her husband was playing?

1.: Viktoria's Jancker. Or one of Ratingen's players(Viktoria didn't impress me much).

2.: They are married ? I don't think that it was Matthäus. Maybe Peter Pander ?

Well, actually the whole level seemed to be quite low in this game.

No, they aren't married. Pander is a good guess - something like the Geenen/Angela Häßler combination, huh? I didn't expect that Wolfsburg is caring that much for Effenberg that they even entertain the girlfriend during the game
