Now that Big Joe Kinear has Forest playing well (not great) and the players playing at near poetential, I wonder where we are going. The loan pick ups have really stabilized the team, but the long term future of Forest looks on the aged side; with Walker-38, Jess-33, Sonner & Impey-32, Taylor-31, Barmby-30, and Rogers (the baby of the group)-27. The youngsters on the the team particularly Dawson & Reid look as if they might leave. I hope in my heart of hearts Joe can explain tothese young men what I have expounded for years. Look at sports in general, the clubs that have long term success are those that with bringing in established talent have thing in common. These clubs develop their young players and then give them the helm and let them play. Man Utd. is my best example, in American Baseball the Yankees and Atlanta Braves are my examples. I look at Reid, Dawson, Williams, Thompson, Roche, King, and Doig and think these men could build something great. I will patiently await Big Joe's and the players decisions, I think Forest will continue to improve, on what turn into a nightmare season. I have provided some suggestions in my next thread. Men of Forest keep playing hard, you have the talent to climb the Division 1 ladder. Tahnks.
