Bradford + Wimbledon :: About to vanish???
The big talk in the press has been about Leeds and what will happen with them financially if they are relegated. My questio for everyone is, what about Bradford and Wimbledon? What will happen to either of them if they're relegated to the second division?
As you may know, Bradford has been placed in administration for the second time in two years. And they're 7 points from safety. They can still pull it off but their financial position isn't helping them bring in new blood to help avoid the drop. Are their any serious prospective buyers for the club? Worse, if they are relegated would they be able to squeak by? They're in administration right now. And with the season winding down - that is, their main source of revenue + cash about to dry up - I have a hard time seeing them being around next year by any means short of a fire sale. That is, the ol' you can have the club for free if you're willing to deal with the headache and the debts type thing.
The Dons future looks worse but may actually turn out for the better. They're in a bad financial position right now. And if they're not already mathmatically relegated to division two, for all practical purposes they are. They've had to sell of a lot of players the last 2 years to get by. And at that they still haven't been making ends meet and they're performance on the pitch took a nose dive. That said, they at least have one serious potential buyer of the club. That is why I think their future may be brighter. Then again, if the Winkleman deal doesn't pan out I'd have to wonder if Wimbledon won't completely vanish.
What do you all think?

Bradford and Wimbledon
As of March 18th; Bradford seems to be selling their future, they let Francis go to Sheffield Utd. Neil Warnock must have vulture in him (not meant to be derogatory), he already pluck Andy Gray from Bradford, but Simon Francis is more significant. I feel he will grow at the least into a EPL near star. I guess having Stuart McCall on the team and coaching staff helps.
But, Wimbledon looks to have been brought and though they already sold their future could go to the second division and come right back up.

Thanks.
Here's an article on Wimbledon & the creditors approving the deal with Winklemen's group. I agree, with them getting bought it looks like they will survive. I don't know about that jump right back up to Div 1 though.

I knew the football golden age of money flowing everywhere would halt but not this sudden and not as severe as what has happened.

That is a good point. With several of these media companies going bankrupt, it's really added to money drying up very quickly.
