Brandon Poltronieri at AD Carmelita

Brujas's owner is leasing his 1st division license to Orion FC for the next 5 years. Thus, Brujas FC was replaced by Orion FC. Orion has a similar kit and is now opperating out of Brujas's old stadium. Brujas was facing financial problems.

Poltronieri does not appear on Orion's roster.

 

Brandon is with FC Viikingit in Finland and is reportedly negotiating a deal to play there this season.

 

He played LB for them in a friendly match today.

...so I guess we have a goalscorer in the Costa Rican Acenso.

 

So far Poltronieri has scored once in the Clausura: against Turrialba on February 16th.

UCR won the Apertura last season and is the top contender for promotion to the 1st division. I don't know all the details, but the Liga Acenso has lost some games due to financial pressures over the past 3-4 months. Hopefully, the league can finish the Clausura and UCR gets promoted.
