How about this? Each confederation selects an All-Star team to play in this competition.

    Round Robin, 2 Groups:
    Group A:
    UEFA, Concacaf, Oceania

    Group B:
    Conmebol, CAF, AFC

Group winners play in the final.

    Propose your rosters/lineups!

With those midfielders the team would concede lots of goals in each match, remove Beckham and RVN add Nedved & Davids and 4 CBs would be alot remove Ferdinand & Cannavaro and add a LB and RB.

Both of the above CONCACAF teams aren't the best the confederation can offer.

    Starting XI

    GK Brad Friedel (USA)
    LB Gilberto Martinez (Costa Rica)
    CB Rafael Marquez (Mexico)
    CB Eddie Pope (USA)
    RB Ramon Morales (Mexico)
    DM Gerardo Torrado (Mexico)
    LM Rolando Fonseca (Costa Rica)
    RM Claudio Reyna (USA)
    AM Landon Donovan (USA)
    CF Brian McBride (USA)
    ST Jared Borgetti (Mexico)

    Reserves:

    GK Tim Howard (USA)
    GK Kasey Keller (USA)
    DF Samuel Caballero (Honduras)
    DF Salvador Carmona (Mexico)
    DF Mauricio Wright (Costa Rica)
    MF Jesus Arellano (Mexico)
    MF Ricardo Gardner (Jamaica)
    MF Eddie Lewis (USA)
    MF John O'Brien (USA)
    FW Cuauhtemoc Blanco (Mexico)
    FW Tomas Radzinski (Canada)
    FW Paulo Wanchope (Costa Rica)

Also deserving mention at forward, IMO, are Stern John (Trinidad & Tobago), Saul Martinez (Honduras), and Antonio de Nigris (Mexico).

For the defense: how has Manuel Vidrio been playing lately?
