Default Castillo, yay or nay?

There wasn't much to take from that friendly. Surprise surprise, we couldn't get any offense without Donovan and Dempsey. Surprise surprise, Hejduk and Bornstein have problems defensively. The one good thing is we finally saw Castillo, so what do you think of him?

he played almost the entire 2nd half and i don't think touched the ball once. actually was more invisible than Johnson and Altdore. that's a nay.

He touched the ball. Then kicked it right back to Bornstein or whoever was behind him. Never really went forward with the ball. He looked tinny out there. I want to see him on defense.

In the very few touches we saw him get he was noticeably smoother and more comfortable on the ball than most of the pool. Would love a chance to see him defend from the LB position.

Nothing that could be said about him either way on the basis of this game really qualifies as analysis, IMO. There really wasn't much of anything to analyze.

I would like to see him play LB. Not LM.

I would have liked to have seen him play the full match. He wasn't given enough time to be judged.

I didn't see enough of him to have an opinion. However I have seen enough of Bornstein , Hey Dude and Clark to know I don't want to see any more. HeyDude is DONE. He was beat like a circus monkey all night and Bornstein wasn't much better.

3 and out next summer. Get used to the idea and those of us that have been saying that for 3 years will have our day. BB has not developed a team that can do anything.
