The new cycle of the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team, players eligible for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup, will play its first ever international games against Portugal on Dec. 4, Brazil on Dec. 5 and the Netherlands on Dec. 7, with all three games being shown live on Fox Soccer Channel at 7 p.m. MT. Other international games in Phoenix will include Brazil against the Netherlands on Dec. 4, Portugal and the Netherlands matching up on Dec. 5 and Portugal and Brazil squaring off on Dec. 7.

....
Thanks for the heads-up. In games of this sort, will our U-17's automatically be comprised solely of our Bradenton residency group?

The keeper class again is strong(as expected). One of them is being linked with a few Champions League Clubs.

Is our next U-17 team supposed to be as good as our current one?

I've heard that there are some very special players in this group, namely Alfred Karoma and Eric Gonzalez. Others like Alejandro Guido have also been said to have huge potential. Honestly, it's so hard to tell how good this group will be, but there's no reason to think it won't be as good or even better than the last cycle.

I am sure they will be all from this group,,could be some exceptions. They have trained together for awhile so they should have decent team chemistry. Now that I know its on FSC,,dont have to even think of driving out there.

Looking forward to checking out the new crop of kids. Thanks for the heads up. I imagine that Holland and Brazil's coaches will be hungry to improve with their new group given their premature exits from the u-17 WC last month.

Of course, you are aware that senior national sides play on FIFA designated dates &/or with available players only when country leagues are out of season, i.e. MLS, Scandinavian leagues, etc.
