Here's to hoping for a better result than against Macedonia. It will be a tough match, though, since Poland is a) a better team and b) in full WCQ form.

Anyone know if hart is bringing in any uncapped canadian talent on this trip ? Hopefully he does the right thing and play some of our young canadian talent that way guys like begovic who was never givin the chance to play get capped with canada!

I agree. I think Canada should do that sort of thing much more often in meaningless friendlies.

And sadly they lose the opportunity to play for their contry of origin as they ruined that opportunity by wasting their time playing for the Nats...he will not be the last to pick their country of ancestral origin to be capped by as it is the smart move....

Friendlies don't cap-tie players anymore. They have to dress for the Gold Cup or the WCQ (and the WC of course).

When did it change? I thought it was any "sanctioned" (or whatever the term is) national team match?

Don't know when the change occurred but it's true. Hurts a country like ours a lot while there are so many multinationals that play here.
Dire game. Better result. Long way to go. January can't come soon enough.
