SMU misses College Cup for second year in a row
After making it 14 years in a row and 23 out of 24 years under Schellas Hyndman.
Interesting...

And, after two years, the new coach has won just as many national championships as Schellas did in 24 years.
Interesting...

I'll take missing the point for $500, Alex.

More like prioritizing differently than you. There's room for all in our big tent of mediocrity.

OK, I'll play. How many times has his new team made the playoffs since in that same time frame? See if you give SH the benefit of the doubt for any reason perhaps his replacement should get the same.

FCD missed the playoffs by 2 points...SMU missed the playoffs by a ton more than that.
P.S. Your Facebook is sending spam to all your friends, Damian. Not sure when the last time you logged on and saw that was, but your computer might have a trojan.

As a pro coach, SH gets to replace players he doesnt like but the SMU coach is stuck and can only bring in a few new players each year. FCD was a playoff team the 3 years prior to SH but SH cant get to the playoffs with the same players? Oh, SH needes time to get the players he needs. Thats legit. So, does the SMU coach not get the same chance?

Yes. I was told to change the password and that should fix it. If it doesn't let me know and other ways to stop it. Also don't click on any emails from Facebook that seem a little odd or out of character from one of your friends. That is how my garbage started.

The same players minus Ruiz, Goodson, Gbandi, Nunez and O'Brien who were shipped out and not replaced by Morrow.
My point in this thread was that pretty much everyone dismissed Schellas' accomplishments at SMU claiming that making the playoffs there was so easy a caveman could do it with all the talent in Texas....not so fast my friend.

Re: SMU misses College Cup for second year in a row
I thought people's complaint with him at SMU was that with the talent he had, and being the only D1 school in North TX with a men's program, he should have been able to win a championship. IE he couldn't win the big game.
