No official posting has been made but I heard last night at our referee awards dinner that Hector Vergara (Can) will be at that tournament so I assume he will either be working with mexicans as he did at WC2006 or potentially with Batres as he did prior to 2006. I highly doubt it will be an entire Canadian Crew.
Second time he will be at this tournament in his long list of tournaments.

Vergara is going with Archundia. Like all FIFA tournaments this year, the referees are all WC candidates. Simon of Brazil is actually the other one who has been announced so far.

Yeah Vergara ended up not going to the u-20 tournament because he was part of the concacaf replacement crew that went to the confederations cup. most of the referees kinda had an indication of what tournaments they would end up at earlier in the year.
