Question How did local media cover your win vs Fire?

Did local media outlets cover last night's win vs Fire?

The win got more coverage than the normal RSL win/loss/draw gets.

Channel 2 had Garth, Will, and Nat on Talkin' Sports tonight. You could hardly hear them since I don't think they had mics on, but it wasn't bad.
Channel 5 didn't have much but had cameras at the airport welcome this morning.

I watched the "highlights" on Fox 13. They showed the cross that Busch caught and held over the line to stop a goal, the last Rimando save, and the Grabavoy penalty. That's it. And she said "Ronaldo makes the save". Then they went on to 10 minutes of high school football.

I would say blitz the local talk radio, make them talk about more than Utah's loss to TCU, BYU's dissapearance and the Jazz playing early regular season basketball (boring)

I already sent a letter to the sports desk editor at the Herald for their (lack of) coverage .... probably won't get any traction, but if enough people get involved the papers/radio folks/tv folks might take notice.

Update
Just got an upbeat response back from Tom Kirkland at KSL re: my email to them. Keep up the media contacts, it will pay off.

The coverage was pretty good... Not quite what you would want, but more than usual. When BYU beat Ok. in football it was the LEAD story on the news. Channel 2 had a nice package on Talkin' Sports and then joked about how they were screaming in the news room during the PK's.

I have always wondered where RSL fits into this market demographic wise. Apparently it goes 1- the Jazz 2- BYU football 3- Utah football (with them gaining on BYU quite a bit in recent years) and then I believe 4 may be RSL fighting with Utah and BYU basketball.

I did, however, see highlights on ESPN News, which surprised me a bit... Even though they are broadcasting the game next week.
