A woman's complaint
You've all known me for years. I'm hardly the vulnerable type. I don't neg rep because I think the repping thing is fascist. I can stand up for myself. I'm no angel myself. I however am getting sick and tired of the fact that sexist comments are not being reprimanded on BigSoccer. The things that are said to me in my face - replace Neeskens with black person and would you and your mods let it slide by? Would you tolerate a reply to a black person showing the face of a battered black person go by unmodded? I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I'm an early generation free speech is everything internet person but the line has to be drawn somewhere. The way I and female posters in general, and indeed women in general are being commented on on this forum and the way you as a forum are letting people getting away with it is unacceptable. And I'm someone who's been going to football games with people of the male species since she was eight mind you, it's not like I'm not used to anything. God help you if real feminists ever stumble upon this website.

Re: A woman's complaint
Oh and check the Italian national teams board while you're at it.

Re: A woman's complaint
Neeskins does have a knack for getting under poster's skin from time to time, but I would agree that some of the posts in the Italy -Holland match thread were uncalled for...They would have been binned in the England forum..

Re: A woman's complaint
Unfortunately all of the active moderators on the Italy board are in some strange form of limbo. We recieve emails but can not access the moderators forum. We can close threads but can't issue cards.
This seems to be the case for all moderators on the Italy forums, except Dante.

If you could bring it up on the moderator forum or to some of the supermods I would be grateful. I have PM'd Dark Knight but he's not around today.

Re: A woman's complaint
I think Johan Neeskens has a fair point here. I went to the Italy forum and came in the Holland-Italy thread across disrespectfull photo's attached with her name on them, a picture of Adolf Hitler and some distastetefull sexual remarks. It's a clear example of wrong behaviour and the persons involved should know that they can't get away with it, because I saw one guy just opening the next thread with the same style of posting. I understand the need to spice threads up but not at the cost of people feeling attacked, made irrelevant or even made into an entity which you can treat and insult as you will, because of who they are.

Re: A woman's complaint
Neeskens made clear racist remarks towards Italian people multiple times in the past*, as a quick search through her posting history shows. It is no surprise that some people had strong reactions towards her inane, mindless trolling.
The only thing that went wrong yesterday was letting her post into the Italian forum instead of banning her racist ass the second after she made her appearence in the game thread.
