Since I don't believe in jinxes or counting chickens... ...I am with you all the way milicz. So much so that I even sent the following email to ABC:

I was wondering if ABC 7 would simulcast the MLS Soccer Championship match if the Chicago Fire make it to the final. I know many sports fans appreciate it when your local affiliate simulcasts the Bears Monday Night Games....
...I believe a potential match up between David Beckham and Cuauhtemoc Blanco would also be appreciated, not to mention very beneficial for your ratings. It would also help many of us who do not have cable witness a REAL Chicago Winner! It is not every day a team from Chicago wins a Championship (or even plays for one for that matter) So I hope this is something you consider.

Too bad NBC didn't change it's Sunday night matchup for next week. If the Fire go through to MLS Cup the game will be going head to head against Bears/Eagles SNF. That will really hinder Chicago viewership of the final. Of course if the Bears keep playing as awful as the last few weeks maybe there will be a lot of turnover to the Fire game after the 1st Qtr...
