Default Classic Yanks Abroad Thread Archive

This seems to come up fairly often, so I thought it might make sense to create one place where people can find some of the "classic" Yanks Abroad threads of days gone by.

This can be a sticky or not, but anyway here are a few that jumped to my mind (obviously a little biased, since I don't remember every thread everyone starts) -- please add your own and I'll add more as I remember them.

These are not all "great" but they are certainly all memorable:
An American in Nepal

Dontavious Fleming (a personal favorite)

John Welsh

Krautman is here with all the REAL info on yanks in GERMANY !
http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121813

Luchi Gonzalez (Sachin knows why I love this one)
http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110141

Stevan Bates in Russia? (Great discussion of how to write "DaMarcus Beasley" in Cyrillic)
http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147765

Yank Kid at Torino?
http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121864

And also -- a tip of the cap to some of the threads I believe to be lost in the crash, such as the "Bain and Webber at West Brom" thread, the original "All About Yanks Abroad" and the Ante Razov at Racing de Ferrol threads...

I think this is a great idea, DMN. I'll just take the liberty of moving it onto the main forum page.

I have just subscribed to this thread with great excitement. I've never read those threads and I'm in tears right now (because they're funny, not because I've never read them).

I miss Racing. Football was never so much fun. I almost still like Ante Razov just from his Ferrol adventures.
