MLS Conference Championships 2009 Running PBP [R]
Here we are a day before the first game, and no thread. Time to get this baby rolling.
First game is on Friday, November 13 at 11:30 pm Eastern on ESPN2/Deportes
featuring LA Galaxy vs Houston Dynamo at the HDC.
REFEREE: Terry Vaughn.
SAR (bench): Thomas Supple; JAR (opposite): Darren Clark;

The Big East has the Chicago Fire hosting Real Salt Lake, Saturday the 14th at 8 pm Eastern on FSC (I believe) in Toyota Park.
Keep it civil, keep it fun. Enjoy the playoffs everyone.

Re: MLS Playoffs 2009: Conference Championships
The Houston/LA game is set to come on at 11 pm edt / 8 pm pdt, NOT 11:30.
Beware: there is a college football game beforehand which may run over but the game itself isn't set to start until 8:25 / 11:25 so hopefully it won't overlap (you can always start watching on Deportes and then switch back over if it does).

Re: MLS Playoffs 2009: Conference Championships
One of the interesting subplots is that Chabala, who has taken over the LB spot for the Dynamo, is out due to suspension. (Did he get back-to-back yellow cards in the Sounders series?) This means Kinnear will probably slide in Barrett into the LB position, which may prove problematic for Houston given his form this season. We'll see.
Otherwise both sides are at pretty much full strength.
