RSL: Western Conference Playoffs thread [R]
For discussing who RSL will play in the MLS Cup.... ok, getting ahead of ourselves.
LA - Chivas tied 2-2
Seattle- Houston, tied 0-0
Who will survive?

Houston will pull out on top and LA will be the victors.
When these two play, i dont know who would win, that will be a great match up.

I'd tip LA to make it to the Cup against us but in the MLS playoffs anything can happen, and often does.

I think it will be LA. They seem to have the best overall form out there.
LA vs RSL? in the Cup in Seattle = fun.

LA beats chivas in a shootout
Houston beats Seattle by 2
LA and Houston play a dirty match where at least one player gets sent off from each team.
LA wins

I think LA will win the series, but I think it would be cool if Chivas one. It'd be cool to have the Cup final between Chivas and RSL. 2005 expansion teams in the cup. Very nice, but most likely won't happen.

Houston just finished off Seattle in extra time. Ching off a volley. REALLY boring game.

Re: RSL: Western Conference Playoffs thread [R]
I guess the big question for this next game is whether we'll see some of the same appalling lapses in defensive sense as in the first leg, or if the teams will sharpen up for this one.

So do we feel bad that Seattle won't get to host their own team for the Cup?
Quick, can anyone name a team that has played a final on their home turf? And lost?

I don't at all. It would seem almost unfair if they were able to play in the cup at their place.
