For a "smaller" conference, at least in terms of men's soccer prestige, there's a surprising amount of pro prospects on their all-conference teams led by Bustamente, Bulls and Houapeu, who are all GenAd worthy.

I always imagine Emile singing It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year when the all conference teams start getting announced.
Everyone be sure to throw rep his way for the legwork he does on this.

Re: 2009 NCAA D1 All-Conference Teams
It's the same feeling you get when you first hear of a 6-5 striker Sandon. Also, without having seen them play, I'd disagree about Houapeu and Bulls. Bustamante is a lot more accomplished, IMO.
Anyway, here are some major D2 conference award winners while we (I) wait:
Sunshine State
Player of the Year – J.D. Gruenewald, Rollins
Offensive Player of the Year – J.D. Gruenewald, Rollins
Defensive Player of the Year – Ryan Thompson, Tampa
Coach of the Year – Keith Buckley, Rollins
Freshman of the Year – Johnny Rodrigues, Barry
*Gruenewald (r-Sr) came out of nowhere a bit after missing most of last year injured. Tampa's Pascal Milien made 1st team and strikes me as the most likely MLS prospect. And maybe the Jamaican keeper Thompson, who has won DPOY two years in a row.
CCAA
Most Valuable Offensive Player: Victor Regalado (Cal State Stanislaus)
Most Valuable Defensive Player: Kevin Gallaugher (Cal State Dominguez Hills)
Freshman of the Year: Martin Esqueda (Cal State San Bernardino)
Newcomer of the Year: Markus Dickerson (Cal State Dominguez Hills)
Coach of the Year: Chris Chamides (Cal State L.A.)
*Regalada is a junior straight outta Juco, so one to watch. We've mentioned Gallaugher before as a decent pro prospect.
Rocky Mountain
Player of the Year: Steven Emory (Metro State)
Defensive Player of the Year: Zane Wells (Fort Lewis)
Freshman of the Year: Manville Strand (Colorado Mines)
Coach of the Year: Frank Kohlenstein (Colorado Mines)
*Emory, 6-2 junior midfielder. Wells, a goalie, defends title.
Carolinas
Freshman of the Year: Luke Perry, Lees-McRae
Player of the Year: Berin Boracic, Lees-McRae
Coach of the Year: Chris Whalley, Lees-McRae
Regular Season Champions: Lees-McRae
*I rate the Bosnian Boracic as a definite MLS prospect. He's also been a star for several PDL teams. The new Khano Smith? Also, Luke Perry!

Re: 2009 NCAA D1 All-Conference Teams
Virgina has the third-best defense in the nation, statistically, and they don't get a defender or their GK on the all conference teams. Interesting.

The coaches didn't seem to be all that impressed with Virginia in general, not giving them any first-team selections. But you could say that the four midfield picks were viewed to be the key to the Hoos defensive prowess, since they clearly didn't contribute much offense. Perhaps Labauex should have gotten bumped up. I did see them live once, and their back line seemed nothing more than solid (although that was early in the year), and Restrepo is perhaps just a victim of what seems to be a solid era of ACC goalkeeping.
How about UIC getting shut out in the Horizon first team? No sentimental votes there - not even second team for Bubonja.
