The average current position for each club in their group is 1.75 for Pot 1, 2.375 for Pot 2, 2.75 for Pot 3, and 3.125 for Pot 4. However, if the Group Stage was over now the distribution of clubs in the Round of 16 would be relatively even with 5 each from Pot 1 and Pot 2 and 3 each from Pot 3 and Pot 4. Two of the bottom four clubs in club coefficient among the clubs in the Group Stage, Rubin Kazan and Unirea Urziceni, are currently top two in their groups. Here are all the examples of a club being ahead in the standings of a club that was two or more pots better than it for the draw:

Bordeaux (Pot 3) is ahead of Bayern Munich (Pot 1)
Wolfsburg (Pot 4) is ahead of CSKA Moscow (Pot 2)
Fiorentina (Pot 3) is ahead of Liverpool (Pot 1)
Rubin Kazan (Pot 4) is ahead of Barcelona (the defending champions with the best club coefficient)
Unirea Urziceni (Pot 4) is ahead of Rangers (Pot 2)
Standard Liege (Pot 4) is ahead of AZ (Pot 2)

So half the Pot 4 clubs are ahead of a Pot 1 or Pot 2 club.
