Default Conversations in Soccer - Gary Paterson, Creative Director, FIFA 2010 EA Sports

"You might not know Gary Paterson by name, yet. But you absolutely know him by the work he and his team at EA Sports do. As Creative Director of the FIFA franchise for EA Sports, Gary is tasked with leading the development of the hugely popular FIFA video game. With their recent release of FIFA 2010, I had the chance to sit down and talk with Gary about all things FIFA. Hit the jump to check out my conversation with the guy who just might have your ultimate dream job."

That was a really awesome interview

One thing I would absolutely love to see in the FIFA games are MLS stadiums...soccer specific or otherwise. I know there are some financial hurdles and agreements that need to be met in order to do that, but EA should pass that onto the consumers in the form of downloadable content. I know for a fact that I would DEFINITELY pay $5 for a downloadable MLS stadium pack. And if I had to guess, a lot of guys here on BigSoccer would too.

I would settle for a game that didn't freeze up all the time. Most instances come from creating a virtual pro which is one of their big hypes. I can't even get out of the opening arena, and all patches are current. I love fifa but damn..........
