Re: Twelve-Year-Old Twins at Santos Laguna
Guys we really should reduce this forum with players who are playing professionally... Am sure this a American born 10 year old playing in Spain in some teams youth ranks but who cares at this point...

I frankly don't expect there to be a lot of discussion of these players, but I don't see what's wrong with letting people know of their existence.
Heck, it's not like the club is under any obligation to make any mention of its under-13 team on its web site, let alone list names, birthdates and hometowns.
I suspect that this thread will live a short life on page one and then move quietly along.

Plus in a year or two someone can dig it up and update it and not start another new thread.

Sebastian Lletget has yet to play a single professional game for West Ham, but his thread has over 400 posts now, so obviously some people do care.
I don't see what the problem is in having threads devoted to Americans who are in foreign youth teams, regardless of their age. If you think they are senseless then you can simply avoid clicking on them.

Cap them now!
Can you imagine the confusion it would cause on an opposing team's defense if they had to mark twins.

I do.
And that's why I'm on this forum.

As a mod, I'm just quoting this beautiful sentiment so that everyone can look at it more closely.
And yeah, DMN is right. The thread serves a purpose that falls well within the purview of YA, in my opinion. As long as it doesn't develop a clothing motif, other events will send it to page 2 and beyond soon enough.

I'm sure I could dig up some more links for everyone's viewing pleasure.
I like threads like this, by the way. I think we should just thank DMN for all this hard work and be glad that these threads exists. If nobody cares, the threads will slide into oblivion quickly, with no harm done. If people do care, they'll linger on the top pages for a while.
