We are asking all forum members to give us some feedback about the state of our forums. We would be grateful if you would take a few moments to vote in the poll, but more importantly post your thoughts about how things are going in this forum. Anything is fair game - the moderators, the quality of the discussion, the amount of traffic, the forum structure, etc. Voting is useful, but we are most interested in ways you think BigSoccer and specifically this forum can be improved -- what we are doing right or wrong, and your thoughts generally about your use of this forum.

Thank you for any feedback you can provide!

Seems fine to me. It's always going to have pretty limited traffic, what with BigFooty only a link away, and most of this site being from non-Commonwealth countries.

There used to be a few posters who were interested in discussing rugby on a regular basis, not sure what happened to them. It would be nice to get a bit of a rugby community going here, I don't really have anywhere else to talk about the game - I might give a few threads a crack when Super 15 kicks off next year.

I've always found this forum to be far friendlier to the "non-Australian" wanting to discuss Australian Rules football. I tried to enter the discussions on Big Footy, but found myself iced out by the pre-established relationships in play on that board. This board and forum is open to all those who appreciate the game but don't live within the game. The boundaries are much more open.

I normally just browse BigFooty and have found a few other outsiders, but I agree that this is a safer domain. The way they talk about every single aspect all the time, I get the feeling that their media pumps out AFL tidbits like we get the NFL.

As for rugby, I casually read Planet Rugby and League Unlimited, but both of those are littered with union-league squabbles.
