Default Why does E360's Serie A coverage suck so much?

While I'm not a huge follower of the league, ocassionaly I want to watch part of a match. In my experience, for large parts of the match there's no commentary. Sometimes it will come in later. In the Napoli-Milan match yesterday, there was no commentary for the first eight minutes, then there was an Italian commentator at the same time as an English one, then they finally got it right.

This isnt' the first time I've noticed this on their Serie A programming. What's the deal?

although I watch the Serie A on FSC usually I've noticed the same basic thing on their Budesliga coverage, never heard german commentary but there have been times where there was no english commentary for the first 8 or 15 mins or so. ever so often. not sure why this is.

Doesn't ESPN360 take the ESPN International feed for Serie A? I have never heard the ESPN commentators join a game late but them stuffing up the audio so you can here the English and Spanish commentators at the same time happens way too often

the one time I watched the end of the match on Wednesday, they seemed to take the raw feed from the provider - the same feed you'd see on FSC. No ESPN talent doing commentating. At least, not that I could tell.

On Wednesday, the two Carling Cup games that ESPN360.com showed
(Arsenal-Liverpool and Chelsea-Bolton) and that were played at the same
time as Napoli-Milan both had no audio for the first eight to ten minutes.
So it definiately was ESPN360.com who had the audio problems and not
from the production on the other side of the pond.

I don't watch much Serie A either but yeah the couple of times I've watch
on ESPN360.com - the audio has been either cutting in or out or at times
I've had to turn up the audio on the player to full capacity to just hear the
announcers. Compared to last season, the audio side of things have been
a bogley and not par or a birdie this season.
