Default Playoffs Super Classico 2009: Chivas USA vs Galaxy Chumps/Galaxy Chumps vs Chivas USA

Well after two shity finishes in the regular season we have no mominum going into the playoffs, I don't know about you guys but I'd be lying my ass off if I said I wasn't worried about next week's game against the Galaxy Chumps because to be honest after seeing how we finished this season off I wonder how seriously the FO is looking at this Playoff Super Classico? Most likely there looking at the $ sign more then putting pressure on Preko to get us the **** out of the First Round!!! But once again everyone here fails to see the pattern to all of this BS, 1. Preko never took the Classico's serious and that's a fact because he actually says it's just another game. 2. Preko might have never taken the Playoffs seriously either did anyone ever take a look at our previous two early exit's? those 4 games were very winnable. And the magic number 3. Preko acts like he doesn't want to coach this team hell I do remember him saying that he would love to coach the Wizards, further more it's like we are never prepared for our opponents like those two final games of the season. My take on this series is this: Unless Chivas USA play as a unit and go for the victory all the way, unless they take these games by the horn from the beginning and never let up, unless they are hungry for that MLS Cup and I do mean 3rd world country hungry, then I see another failure looming over us and we as fans has got to demand better results then just making the playoffs. I see this series going into PKS(Penalty Kick Shoot Out) to tell you the truth because I don't see us winning any other way then that. Chivas USA I have faith in you as a team that you won't let us down especially not against those Galaxy Chumps, I just don't have faith in Preko.

If we loose this next game and Preki is not fired then I dont know what the F#@* they are thinking up in the front office. Maybe we should stop blaming Preki and start blaming Hunter. By the way (in my opinion) Hunter hasnt done shit to turn this franchise around. As a matter of fact I think it was better befor he came. Wasnt he suppose to be the savior? I remember every one saying how he did wonders in the NHL etc....It's time for Suarez to take over Prekis job!

i am nervous, the crappy season series with the scum coupled with our shitty end to the season does not inspire confidence. I hope Preki gets his head out of his ass and coaches us to victory.

GEEZUS GUYS This is EXACTLY what I wanted to see. We get to move on to round two and eliminate the Galaxy at the same time. What more can you want. This will also clearly make the SuperClassico a real rivalry and not some made up rivalry by the marketing Dept.

If the team and preki cannot get up for this one they all need to go. This is going to be an instant classic for all of MLS to see. The second round has me more nervous having to travel to Houston in a one game elimination match

Hey question to all of you yes all of you!
Would you try your best to try to make it to one of the teams practice this week?
If prekY cant motivate them I think we all can do something about that other than complain. So how is in? no BS if you think you can make it put your name down

chivas are the underdog and will be playing with little or no pressure (the league and espn want to see the galaxy in the final). one goal is all we need. in zach we trust.

by the way, who's the real chivamayor? 'reymisterio' or 'elchivamayor'?? just wondering :-P

The league needs the Galaxy-Beckham-Circus to win this series.
So therefore, we should expect no calls called in our favor.

That said, Preki NOW needs to coach for the win and not for just the draw.

BTW CTS26, I yelled a few choice words to our beloved coach as he was walking into the lockerroom at halftime. I think he knows that some of us fans don't buy into his hyper-defensive/prevent-offense style.

That felt like a weird, experimental lineup on Sunday. Braun and Santos can't be up top together. A true scorer like Lillingston or Galindo has to be up there at all times. I thought Lahoud was a bit wasted playing deep in the middle like that, but hey, he finally scored!!! That was awesome. And how nice was it to see Flores play??? Sure, Houston had it all sewn up before the two CUSA goals, but most importantly we got the matchup we wanted and we didn't take any major injuries (I think). I know the league wants the Gals to win this one, but so what. You can be pessimistic all you want, but we're in the playoffs and that's all that matters. We know these clowns up and down, and we can take it to them! Arriba las chivas!!!!!!
