Same with Jones, I think. They said addtional surgery not needed, but something was screwy from the last surgery so you never know. He could progress and heal up, or could end up going under the knife again if things don't go as planned.

We lost Armas prior to the 2002 WC and then started the WC with Reyna hurt, had Stewart get injured in the first game and then had Agoos get hurt as well in the 2nd? 3rd game (although many would argue that was for the best).

That's what I'm saying. You pretty much have to prepare for at least 2 or 3 top players being injured heading into the World Cup.
Now, most of the guys should be healed by the time Bob makes his roster selections, but 1/3 of the assumed Top 23 are injured at this point. US Soccer resembles Arsenal's injury woes of he last few seasons.
