He produced a nice touch to get the ball back to Ireland, fair enough.
But aside from that... he phoned the game in.

Getting out muscled, losing the ball, standing around on attacks because of a slight knock, poor in defense, just a shocking day from what I gather.

Am I justified in my criticism?
Is he just a touch worn out, playing every game?
Was this just a One Off?
Should we make adjustments?
If so, Young Weiss; Bellz or Ireland on the right and Petrov on the left?

Whatch ya think?

I think it was one off. But I dont think a player should be replaced after one bad game, manager sees them almost daily and has a better idea who is training hard and whos fit.

i think if needed petrov on the left and bellamy on the right is a good combo, but I would rather see a Bellamy and Tevez partnership up top, those two both go in hard at the defenders and can def cause some havoc up top.

It seemed like every time I noticed him, he was getting up slowly after a heavy hit from a Villa player. That can't have helped.

I think he is hurt -- wouldn't mind seeing Bellamy on the right and Petrov left vs. Wigan

I don't think Martin would either.
