CCC Match 11: Newcastle United Vs Bristol City, Saturday Oct. 3rd. [R]
After the disappointing 1-1 draw against QPR midweek, we get the chance to put in a better performance against Bristol City. They are 9th in the league and chasing the play-off places at the moment, so I doubt it will be easy.
In our team news Barton is still out (and is expected to be out for the next few months), Colo is out and Ameobi of course it still out. Apparently R. Taylor could return though.
Harewood's got to be pressing his claim for a start after scoring mid-week, but it would be a bit harsh on either Ranger or Carroll to be left out. Hopefully Hughton starts with wingers this time, instead of four CMs.
Howay the lads, and discuss.

Re: CCC Match 11: Newcastle United Vs Bristol City, Saturday Oct. 3rd. [R]
I am living in Atlantic Canada, and we don't get Championship games on TV. I have been following the Toon via live streams, but for the last couple games I have been unable to find a stream.
If anyone stumbles across one, please post it.
I have been having good luck find streams recently with Rojadirecta, until the current dry spell anyway.
Thanks.

Hard to know who has had a good week in training, and who has the sniffles on game day, but certainly a pairing of Butt/Smith doesn't sound likely to create chances. Not that we have a stable of widemen pushing for a place.
If Ranger or Carroll sits in favour of Harewood, I'd like to see another young player in the team. Vukic or LuaLua would bring some attack mindedness to the midfield.
Better to keep one or two youngsters in the team, bringing to lot of them on slowly, than start them all in a weakened team.

Lovenkrands and Harewood break twice. Both times there's a halfhearted appeal for handball.

Game is really slopping up in the midfield now. Both teams giving away and making mistakes, but no real chances.

I bit on the free commentary trial for this one. Rest assured, I'm canceling after the match and Ashley won't see a penny from me.
