Default US-Honduras viewing party road trip 10/10

It looks like it may actually be coming down to this. As we haven't heard of any Philly-area locales showing the match some of us are planning on taking the train up to NYC. Conveniently enough there's a viewing party at a sports bar in Madison Square Garden, literally up the steps from Penn Station.

The game is at 10:00 and the cover is $20 (required by all places showing it). If you're sure you want to go you can buy tickets ahead of time at http://www.thegarden.com/

I'd recommend driving to Hamilton Station and taking the train from there. From points in Jersey it's right off of 295. From PA take US-1 N over the river into Trenton. Ignore signs for the train station (I mean you can take the train from there, I just feel better leaving my car in Hamilton, and there's a lot more parking) and take the Whitehead Rd. exit and make a right. Make a left at the first light (Sweetbriar Ave. and then go through a light and then look for signs for the Hamilton train station. If memory serves the station is on your left but you make a right to get into it, then go under the road you're on. There's a big garage there.

You can go to njtransit.com to look up train schedules, but the last train you could possibly take and make it there in time is the 8:08. I'm planning on going up early and making a day of it, maybe do some bar hopping. Trains home would be at 12:42 or 1:41, arriving around 2 and 3 respectively.

Post if you're thinking about going so we can gauge interest to see if it's 'nack worthy or not.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I won't be taking NJT.

Any Berks/Lanco SoB's thinking of making the trip? I might just take the train straight from Lancaster & spend the night in NYC.

Never mind, way too expensive to stay in NYC, catch you all at the Costa Rica match then!

Just to let everyone know, the game will be on in Fells Point with the Baltimore Brigade. If the game is not shown in Philly, I'll be heading down if anyone wants to ride with.

Oddly enough - I will be in Upstate NY that night an am planning on going to Wolff's Biergarten in Albany. I am expecting to be the only one from the DVI that far north, but if I am wrong, let me know!

There are two Spanish language broadcasts much closer. One in pleasantville, NJ (just outside of AC) and one in AC. I'm goin' in and lookin' for support. Who's with me? PM please.

I have not checked on the price. I'm coming over from Sea Isle, (I'm down there with the kids for the Cape Express soccer tourney), and I'm leaning towards the Pleasantville place, just becasue it is a few miles closer.
