Is this just an isolated incident or is "it" actually happening? I'm hoping it's the former.

The man was a 51-year old cancer survivor who went to school to get his teaching degree at 47 while undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

An he ends up hanging from a tree in an isolated part of Daniel Boone National Forest, in what police are calling an "apparent homicide"

Not to be callous, but if this is what it looks like, I imagine the perpetrators completely missed the irony of committing their anti-fed terrorism with a federally protected tree.

And yeah, some people might end up owing Janet Napolitano an apology.

Indeed. This almost sounds as though someone saw in Michelle Bachman's diatribe a possible cover for their actual motivaton. Let the FBI do its job before we get all up in arms about it.

I'd say the word 'FED' written on the guy's chest is probably a clue as to the motivation of whoever killed him. Although, it could also be a cover-up.

Who knows, maybe the poor guy ran into something he wasn't supposed to see, like a meth lab.
