Apprently John Moncur, the Grays Chairman, has employed Dicksy as manager.

This caused me to reminisce over past games and found this match:

I remember watching this game and wondering what the ref was playing at giving Moncur two yellow cards for one incident (6:17).

After being chopped down by Moncur the guy (no 4) stays down like he's been shot. Moncur then reaches down, touches the guy and gestures. The healing power of Moncur's touch obviously worked because the guy then leapt to his feet like a jack-in-the-box and retaliated.

Baldy number 2 then jumps on Moncur's back and inflames the situation. Dailly notices this and starts on him.

The ref then decides to book Dailly for his part, Macclesfield number 3 (?) and Moncur twice. Somehow number 2 and 4 got away with retaliation.

Baldy lower league thugs ganging up on the big time Charlies. Those were the days when football was football!!!
