5 goalies is the funniest thing I've ever seen..... Maybe when you run out of field players you could see Artur at defense and Julio Sergio playing like Baptista up at forward.

5 keepers isn't necessarily a bad thing. Doni is there bc in case he's ready to play before Jan, better to have him on the list. And we've had a revolving door in the past 2 weeks regarding keepers......from Artur to Sergio...so, we're going to need a good handful.

How good is this Zamblera??? Does he really stand a chance to play?

Probably not much. He's no Pato. Probably a little better than that D'Alessandro kid you had last year, or on par with him. He's a good youth but he's still too young to be important.

Baptista is finally being listed as a Midfielder which is good because that's exactly what he is.

^ I noticed that as well.....but i don't read too much into it...he's a "forward". Whatever that means with Roma.

Baptista is a forward in my opinion, it's where he's yielded the best results.

He's yielded the best results as an attacking midfielder making his deep runs which is where he bagged a lot of goals at Sevilla. Madrid played him as a left winger and occasionally a forward and Arsenal played him sporadically but mainly coming from the bench. He had a solid return for Roma because he picked up good form and scored some wonderful goals. If he is deployed as an attacking midfielder I am confident we will see the results we want to see from him.

Totti was also injured A LOT last year...same for Vuci, so he was the only striker at times last year. So, he got a lot more opportunity. Whatever Ranieri decides to do with him, he won't feature as much as he did last year. But, i still expect him to have a great year..especially bc he's familar with the italian game.
