Thumbs up Champions League, Group Stage (R)

I figured that it would be easier to keep all comments on Inter's CL group stage matches in one thread. That way everything is more organized.

I think it'll be very interesting to see Shevchenko at Dinamo Kiev, that's for sure. And even though we thankfully missed Wolfsburg in the Pot 4 draw, we landed Rubin Kazan, who are the Russian champions, and well on their way of winning the Russian Premier League again this year. We should advance, but it's not going to be a walkover.

This is pretty disrespectful if you ask me... Interested to hear Inter fans thoughts on his most recent words...

Ibra in new Inter insult
Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to San Siro in under a week and continues to wind up his old club. “I know Barcelona are better than Inter.”

Quote:
“I can’t wait for that day to come,” grinned the striker. “Returning to San Siro with a different shirt on my back will be very exciting.

“I hope to win because I think we are the better side. In fact, I know Barcelona are better than Inter.

This is not disrespectful to say even from him. Barca earned the right to be called the best team in the world with there results and playing style while Inter are yet to do this, I hope it will be this season. The disrespectful part is that he has 0 respect for hes former club with who he played 3 years. You will not see Kaka talking about Milan like this. I bet if he scores a goal against us he will celebrate, that kind of guy he is, witch is sad.

On topic as I did not comment on this.

This group will be very hard for us and I admit I'm not happy. We have currently the best team in the world in our group + 2 very solid teams that traditionally are a very hard to break when they play at home, at lest Dynamo Kiev. Kazan is a riddle for me, they won the Russian championship so they must play some nice football we will see how this ends.

But for me I think the key game is against Barca at San Siro, if we win that we are 99% threw but if we lose everything starts to complicate because we will have to win in Russia or Ukraine and that's never easy and usually big teams there have all sorts of problems.

I'm very exited about the match and how we will stack up against them, on the other hand 50% of the team is new and I expect the best form in the 2 part of the season if the main players stay fit and injury free long enough.
