This is becoming mindnumbing for me! They announce they will be airing La Liga at times on ESPN2 (I don't have 360 so can't see those games and thus have to wait for the ESPN2 matches) and then never mention again, or at least it seems like they haven't, when the games will start!

Heck, I didn't even know they were airing EPL games until about 2:00 A.M. Saturday morning----the day they were going to air an EPL game. Not very good marketing there guys!

Does anyone have any idea when the ESPN2 covereage will start? Thanks!

Rumour has it that they're turning ESPN Classic into ESPN 3. I got a card the other day saying I might need to re-scan the channels on my converter box on the 18th (a few days ago now) to get it. It's weird because no matter how much searching I do, I can't find anything on ESPN 3 but simple rumours. What I have found on it points to it becoming a soccer/NASCAR channel. I know, how 'bout that...

If it does come, I expect the Premiership to stay on ESPN 2 as scheduled and for La Liga, Bundesliga, and additional Premiership coverage to go there.

La Liga fixtures start on August 29/30 but they then take a break for the international dates and pick back up again around September 13. I doubt if ESPN has any games before that. That's farther out than most program guides so it is hard to find exact schedules.

ESPN2 doesn't have very many of the matches, most of them are on Deportes or ESPN360.

Yeah that's what I figured. Gonna be out of town next weekend anyway. I do wish ESPN would announce something at least though, just to set things in stone. I keep hearing the same things about a possible soccer heavy channel but you can't find anything other than just rumors. Having lost out on the champions league may further that on but who knows.
