Default Sand League 2009-2010 Season Banter Thread

Time for the line ups. I liked Morrisons set up. Here goes

Sasha Juniors 3-5-2

GK:
Cech (CH)

After drafting Schwarzer last year and then to dump him for James preseason to put team up with Jussi, let's just say it feels a lot better with a solid conservative banker of a Goalie

Back 3: Brown (MU) - Oshea (MU) - Baines (EV)

Second only to the Rafatation at Liverpool is guessing who came out of the treatment room at ManU. Oshea was the low ball starting for ManU. A little constant checking of the Internet today turns up that Brown is gone. The nice thing was watching DucK Butter swoop for Samba (did you look at their schedule and I don't think he will be playing up front). Alongside is Baines who I spent 6.5 for this year after only 4.5 last year. He might be the value dropping of the squad.

Midfield: Lampard *C* CH) - Murphy (FU) - Kuyt (LI) - Taylor (BW) - Lawrence (SC)

Well Captain Lamps is replacing Ronaldo in the house of SJFC. Hopefully, CFC is all about goal differential. "Keep a diving Drogba" is heard resounding in the staduium. All the midfielders are on board. Lawrence at 5.5 will start ahead of Davies at 7.0 (if you can believe it, I don't know what the reason might be..)

Strikers: Fuller (SC) - Owen (MU)

Well the strikers are up against the newly promoted teams. If Owen gets to ride the tar Davies is ready to go against Sunderland. Hopefully, Owen is not like last year's Downing. A bad stock that never turns around.

Subs: GK Sorenson (SC) - FW Davies (BW)- D Bramble (WI) - D Zayette(HU)

So do we post transfers in here now that the season has started and the other thread is labeled as a pre-season transfer thread?

no we should have an in season transfer thread.

Good one with Shawcross. I should have had him instead of Fuller. 15 big ones. And to think that I did at two stoke player strategy in various games with only once choosing Shawcross.

But Fabregas was the real winner today. 22 points. Wow. United Forever would be feeling great if he was the starter.

Can someone please screw Michael Carricks head back on as it seems to have disengaged his brain...

In other news, I'm all over the Rodallega bandwagon and have announced him as my captain for Wednesday's shortened match schedule.

Well I should have had more transer panic before the start of the season. I somehow figured out the Blackburn bye but not the Fulham.

Sasha Junors currently in last place in all competitions are releasing the first ballast of the dropping team value. Over 4 players have atleast 8,000 transfers out.

The managment are checking passports to see if they have any Stewart Downings of 2008/2009 in their midst. Above the entry it now says, "past performance should not be used to judge future earnings." as they hold the 6.5 mil contract for Baines.

Decision 1...

Sasha Juniors

Out: Zayette Def Hull 4.0
In: Scharner Def Wigan 4.5

Bank 4.5

The wild card is to be played momentarily.

I demand an external investigation into sasha juniors. It's clear to see that he is cooking the books, fudging the figures etc etc.

Hard to blame tarv after his moral sapping loss in the first gameweek in the Rocks ChampsSupaliga.

First I saw I was in 8th place in Sand and then 32nd in All Rocks. Now days later I peek at who got the pleasure of going against 38 points.

Oh well, atleast I did not predict winning the league and bragging about my draft which I almost did

I see I posted in the wrong thread for my trade.

Bettermirror has more than a 40 point lead after two Gameweeks.

Former Dusters are in the top 5.

Just as I'm thinking of ditching Warnock he gets pulled from the Blackburn team today, which is fine as he was my last sub choice, because he is on his way to Aston Villa. Could work out to be a very good move for him and me.
