I just went to the ESPN main page and was stunned to see a photo of Tim Howard, and a lead article about the US's upcoming game with Mexico. I checked about 10 min later and it was gone, and there was a link to the article way at the bottom (as opposed to teh 'Headlines' sidebar near the top).
It's a pity I didn't save a screenshot.
I sometimes wonder if I get a different ESPN front page than other people. I live outside the US and I read about soccer all the time. Did people in the US also see this on the ESPN site?

Yep it was the top story for 3-4 hours this evening. I'm sure it'll be back Wednesday morning.
