Re: Watch as Ronaldo beats up his fans AKA The Real Madrid News Thread
While it's a long way off, I was thinking of the Champions League the other day (as the first qualifiers kicked off) and just checked UEFA's coefficients. As we're outside of the top 8, we'll almost certainly have another mega club in our group. Given that we can't draw Barca or Sevilla in the group stage, which of the four English clubs, AC Milan, or Bayern Munich would you like us to get?
Also, I just noted that Juventus will likely fall outside the top 16, so they'll be a third pot team. A Madrid - ManU - Juventus three way would be quite a group stage.

I'd like an English club to see where we are at in terms of pace and physicality. You can't really go wrong with any of the clubs you named.

I'd want to hold back on that whole 'testing ourselves' business until a bit later in the season when our boys have had time to gel together.
But if i had my wish i would like to smash the bloody scouse to kingdom come. Bloody bastards. I must have my revenge. I need to wash away the memory of that humiliation but the only way to do it is with the blood of the scousers. That i want revenge for the 2-6 although i'm not too worried about that since i know that'll happen soon.

You might get the chance when the CL draw comes out, us being second seed. Would be interesting if we got them...
Also, looking at our co-efficients, Shaktar Donetsk are only 4 points behind us.

But the team would still be too green for the group stages, I'd prefer Bayern (They have a new coach too) or Milan (They are rebuilding their squad too) so the field would be a little more leveled.

Re: The camera shy thread AKA The Real Madrid News Thread
yeah i don't want the scouse in the group stages. that does nothing for us. if we do get them and say we get max points in both matches, they'll still most likely be able to claim second anyway. i'd prefer to get them in the KO.
i can imagine us getting inter or chelsea in the group stages though...
