L´ALLENAMENTO: PRIMA SEDUTA A RISCONE DI BRUNICO, TADDEI GIÀ TIRATO A LUCIDO
pubblicata venerdì 3 luglio 2009

da Riscone di Brunico
Marco Valerio Rossomando

1 - Menez, Cassetti, Greco, Stojan
2 - Malomo, Antunes, Guberti, Perrotta, Taddei
3 - Mexes, Totti, Esposito, Barusso, Pizarro
4 - Tonetto, Vucinic, Pit, Faty, D'Alessandro

Circa cinquanta tifosi hanno assistito all'allenamento.
Not much info there expect that Taddei looked to be in good form and quite sharp, while Mirko showed up late and was pretty out of shape.

Considering we have failed again to sign a second to Taddei, it's really important for him to have a good pre-season and start the season right. Last year he was injured in the summer and never got into the right groove. I hope this year he's able to get a better start because I always maintain that an inform Taddei is crucial to Spalletti's 4-2-3-1, which I'm sure he will propose as the module this season.

Do we know the health status of Cici? Has he been participating in the start of training? I thought he would have recovered for the start of the season.

He's injured, we have a long list of injured players that are not going to be ready for the first matches: Doni, Cicinho, Aquilani, Juan

Here's an interesting blurb, about how the players are paired up in hotel rooms during the pre-season. Only Totti get's his own room. What a cheap club we have, the youngsters are 3 to a room.

Quote:

Here is a video of yesterday's friendly match. AS Roma won the game 9-0, but don't get too excited because it was against a local selection and not a professional team.

I cringe at the thought of Esposito being the player that will come off the bench and try to help turn things around.
