He's not but that's irrelevant. Again, no one's talking shit about him. When he's healthy, he's world class. But he's always hurt. That's the only knock any of us Liverpool fans have made on him.

Again, I stand by my point. If someone wants to offer silly money for him, let him go and Arsene could rebuild his squad.

    Shaq always follows the cash.

And it's not like he couldn't keep his kid enrolled at the Arsenal academy...

wait, weren't you a newcastle fan?

    did you follow carroll?

    :D

also, isn't liverpool hell bent on uk players with epl experience, in contrast to say, arsenal, who can feature an entire squad with no brits? hence, henderson, adam, downing, and carroll. who knows why they payed so much though.

that shouldn't be news to anyone. hell its one of the most cited reasons given when people say why they prefer messi.

Why was Quirarte even hired? The last coach was doing so well for Chivas.

I am still a Newcastle fan though I was more a fan of Alan Shearer than Newcastle. Ruud Gullit, Graeme Souness, and pretty much every guy they've had since except for Kevin Keegan facked the team up. They are still my second team.

It would seem so, however I think that Henderson will be a good pickup after its all said and done. Downing has underperformed but hasn't been played to his strengths, Adam is better as an attacking midfielder than having to fill in for Lucas and Carroll has been an unmitigated disaster. I think one of the reasons they go for British players is that Brazilians and Spaniards probably wouldn't want to live in the Liverpool area. Most of them don't want to go to England, period. So I think the mentality is get player who will want to stay. Not that I agree with that.

The team has loads of talent. I don't understand. They should be coming around quite well right about now.

And they can't register anyone else if they actually qualify to the group stages?

How is Tuca allowed to get away with that?

Le tendieron la cama, they obviously weren't happy with whatever he was doing in the locker room, not to mention they probably are just not happy with everything Vergara does to rip them off (in terms of contracts and such).

and btw, I wasn't laughing at van Persie but the fact that he's the only reason why Arsenal are a good team. When he's gone it's over.

Has Suarez reached double figures for the season? I believe RVP had that before Suarez got suspended.

Is that not the case with Liverpool?

Liverpool are so ********ed it's not even funny(at least to me). Suarez is just as good as van Persie imho and he shows up at international level.

I do think Suarez is an amazing talent.

My question is, how many of you guys usually put stock in international performances? In competitions like the World Cup and the continental tourney's?
