I've yet to read anywhere where anyone was bitching about OSU not moving up, so I'm curious where all this outrage is at. Feel free to drop a link or two, because if "they" are saying this, "they" are being stupid. Or, drop it.

Re: College Football 2009 [Multiple Rs]
With the winner clinching a spot in the MAC title game, the Bobcats de-fricking-STROYED Temple, 35-17. The Owls had run roughshod over the MAC all year but ran into a buzzsaw in Athens. The Cats had 492 yards of offense.
Of course, since nothing can ever go too well for the Bobcats, OU's starting QB watched the end of the game on crutches.
No starting QB and an all-time record of 4-20-2 against the Chips? I don't care. Ohio University is one victory over Central Michigan away from their first MAC title since 1968!

Good performance by OU, but it must be noted that Temple's star RB Pierce was out injured. That same injury bug may hurt OU vs CMU as noted above. Nice change for both Temple and OU, who were doormats last season.

Both Scott and Brazil were on crutches post-game, and several players, especially linemen, seemed to take knocks and not return. I'd expect a Columbus Crew circa 2005-sized injury list for the 'Cats this week.
That said, a tremendous game, with weather not nearly as bad as I'd feared. Got nice 50-yard line seats, as surprising as it seems, wasn't a given Friday (the seats behind the OU bench were probably half-full, but the press-box (west) side were closer to 75-80%), and had a very good time. I think that's the first game I've ever attended minus students, but the crowd was lively and engaged - even saw some Temple fans about.
Lesson of the day - full-fledged tailgating (tent, grill, adult beverages, etc) will catch people's eye in Athens. Our group taught 2 nice men how to play flip cup. They caught on fast.

The ACT was a long time ago, so I hope I got that right.
