I read it many moons ago. It was interesting to read some of the beyond the games items that were going on as that was during my neophyte stage and many things from then slipped by me. Good for a Crew fan, especially those that remember those games.
I highly recommend this book (not Crew related, but soccer related):

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished this morning. 4 years of waiting, death of the author, blown through 766 pages in 20 hours.
Has anyone else devoted over half their lives to WoT?

Re: What are you reading?
Finished two the other day:
The Tales of Beedle the Bard, by JK Rowling
Company of Liars, by Karen Maitland, the weirdest, darkest novel I have read.

Soccernomics arrived from Amazon last night. About 30 pages into it. So far, outstanding.

Re: What are you reading?
Beedle was a very short book, just over 100 pages; it was not what I was expecting, though.
For a book that seemed to be directed toward children it was a bit dark in places; I think, for some reason I was expecting it to be geared toward younger children, more like pleasant fairy tales.
If you need a short, quick read, it will do.

Historically, most "fairy tales" were none too pleasant or light fare for kids. They seem to have been meant to scare the s**t out of them so that they would mind their parents. I mean "ring around the rosie" is about the Black Death, for example....
