A little bro grows up emulating his bigger bro, for the most part, and they probably both dreamed of growing up and playing for Mexico together. What ties does he have with Spain other than he has been living there for a while?? His father is not even Spanish... I don't see him chosing Spain.

He's not supid. If he gets minutes with the first team he would most likely get called up to the National team. Jona will be a starter with us as soon as he's ready. Spain in the other hand not so much. He's got Cesc, Xavi, Iniesta ect.
