Y'alls call: -- I'd like either (1) WPS expansion forum for the recently named Philadelphia and Atlanta teams (as well as for any further expansion releases/murmurings, etc.) OR -- (2) New WPS team forums, one for the Philadelphia Independence, the other for the Atlanta Beat. I figure these will need to be made at some point anyway. Because I know as soon as the current season is over, the fans of these teams will be calling for individual team forums anyway. Please? Pretty please? Thanks!
The teams are named, have a management structure, and are ready to go. I think it makes sense to go ahead and create a forum for each of them. I don't see the need for an expansion forum on top of that because there hasn't been that much to talk about - what little there is can just go in the general WPS forum.
It would really be a great help for what we're trying to do as well. Mark Dunfee Officer, Daughters of Betsy
I second this. You could set up a forum for each, with the year 2010 after the team name, then edit the forum name (possible?) after the end of this season. If names can't be edited, then just the team names. Anything you can do to help teams find supporters, and to help supporter groups get organized, would be a good thing for the league. I have yet to find another soccer forum that supports the women's game like BS.
I'd like to see a WPS expansion forum for the recently named Philadelphia and Atlanta teams (as well as for any further expansion releases/murmurings, etc.)
I would love to see either opetion happen, though I prefer Option #2, especially if its internal structure is similar to that of the MLS expansion forum =-)
