Since he was drafted and he still went to Europe I guess that answers your question.

I seem to recall that there was speculation that he might have gone #1 if he wasn't a Canadian, and I think he fell to the 4th round only because he had already signed in Scandinavia, as was rated as a top 8 pick IIRC, but its been a while.

Yeah I think you are right about that. I guess that's what the person who asked the original question was trying to get at.

Kind of like TFC and their situation with Lapira.

Friend has been killing it over there this season. I think the noyl other player abroad that has more goals is Simeon Jackson and even Occean has 13 goals so far, though botht hose last guys are playing at much lower level leagues than Robbie

Friend has to be considered our number 1 guy upfront for the upcoming National team games.

Friend came out on the weekend saying he will not play for Canada again with Dale Mitchell at the helm.

You follow the team more closely than me, do you think Friend will continue to start? He hasn't scored in a while ... is he still effective?

The link to the live-TV. If are any change i will write it there.

    Starttime 5°° pm. - in 70 minutes.

    @ guppy
Yes i think Friend will start. He has have a hart job in the last matches, because Borussia played 4-3-2-1 with 3 DM's so he was very alone in the offensiv. I hope that today it will be change. In the last home match he has have an assit und play very well. In the last play he has have no chance, because he was very alone against die defence from VM.

Poor Friend, whatever team he plays on he's left by himself. Is Neuville back to his old self? Or is he rusty ... Anyway thanks for the info.

Big loss today I'm guessing. Their opponent was just above them ... it's gonna be a rough season.
