I think that a seperate sub-forum in the "Other Sports" Forum for cycling would be appropiate. I understand that this is a soccer site, but under "other sports" there is a large amount of other sports. Many of the fans of cycling do simply not know where to post about cycing. Any thoughts? I say give it a month trial. If it does not work, do away with it. Let the demand determine the result.
I mean, really, "other sports" is pretty self-explanatory, is it not? I realize there's people who like cycling, but it could probably be contained to a few threads on the other sports forum (which isn't exactly getting heavy traffic to begin with).
I want to resurrect this idea. I thnk that cycling could garner as much interest as any other separate forum. Cycling encompasses many different things. It's... - a professional sport. - a serious amatuer sport. - a leisure pasttime. - a consumer market with demand for reviews and purchases. - a social group. - a health and fitness group. I think that a sub-forum based off these interests could thrive.
Well, let's get it started. What types fo things can we sticky/discuss? * Where to buy parts/bikes. * How to repair parts/bikes.
Obviously everyone has to post a picture of their bike(s). *Races( cycling Sport) *cycling and the law (current hot topic)
I'm all about Mountain Biking FAQ's and stories. I'm trying to learn all I can. Oh, and pics of my bike... a 1994 fully rigid Specialized Rockhopper...
