At the very least, it has ripped off Soccer By Ives, 3rddegree, and my site (Climbing the Ladder). It probably goes way deeper than that. I wrote a very detailed post with screenshots just a minute ago. I'll post a some stuff here too: SBI WVHooligan 3rddegree WVHooligan Climbing the Ladder WVHooligan Apparently Drew Epperley, the man behind the site, isn't just doing this with soccer. Some journalist in the making.
That's great news!! Now I only have to go to one site to get all my news because I can get everyone else's stories right on WVHooligan. I think it was Mark Twain who once said, "Creativity is great, but plagiarism is faster." Seriously though, plagiarizing is not cool.
I wish I cared, but I don't. BECAUSE IT'S A BLOG PLAGIARIZING A BLOG! A ********ING BLOG! Blogs do not matter.
All blogs are not created equally. 3rd Degree and Climbing the Ladder represent much more than one person spouting an opinion; the two "bloggers" who run them do serious research and work. Check out CTL for pretty neat crunching of numbers, and check out 3rd Degree for an example of how much a close relationship with a team can contribute without removing objectivity. If I blogged, on the other hand, it would be simple spouting of opinion and perhaps be that which The Marquis and RedBullFootball seem to dismiss.
Either way, what is to be gained from researched blog pieces? Certainly not money I'd imagine. Respect? If it's good you get that plagiarized or not. If these blogs were important enough it wouldn't be a blog.
Blog or no blog, claiming someone else's work as your own is wrong. That this person is thinking about being a journalist is worse.
You're just now figuring this out? (that he plagiarizes) I caught him doing the same with Soccer Insider like a year ago.
You're so worked up about how little it matters you make 3 posts, 1 literally yelling about how it doesn't matter? hrm..
LOL! I believe that shit to be plagiarized! You jackass! I mean did you give credit to the person who made the caturday pic?
