Ostensibly, this streamer stuff started as (and is in spirit) an act of throwing stuff ON the field. Perhaps that's splitting hairs.
Nice work. Despite the fact that all the info I could find on the BAND Wehrmacht said nothing of neo-naziism, the similarity between the logos was the most compelling piece of evidence considering the ORIGIN of that band name. I've enjoyed reading MLS Rumors, but this is just disgusting. Its one thing to post rumors that they collect, but to create false evidence for no purpose other than to make a supporters group look bad is completely irresponsible and a total rip-off for fans of MLS *AND* anyone who has enjoyed reading that site.
When fans throw stuff at players in the Argentine league, the league sanctions the team and typically forces them to play home games with no fans and/or fines the team heavily. And frankly, what "this streamer stuff started as" is completely irrelevant. What it is right now is a bunch of drunk idiots throwing streamers at players with the single purpose of disrupting the game.

Just in case people need more evidence that MLS Rumors is a lying piece of crap blog, they are now claiming that in this video you can hear "white power" being shouted at the 33 second mark, as well as additional racial slurs, and you can allegedly hear the guy who yelled in the first video she/they posted. They also claim 10TV in Columbus had somebody state in the 10PM news broadcast that they heard multiple racial slurs. A few problems with that. (1) Whatever is yelled at the 33 second mark, tho unintelligible, is not "white power" - because it's the wrong number of syllables. Apparently sleeze bloggers below the level of Perez Hilton aren't taught how to count. (2) There is no other evidence of racial slurs in the entire 5 minutes. A lot of frustrated explicatives being directed at the ref, sure, but that's it. (3) This video was shot at midfield. The other video was shot in the corner. Does someone want to explain to me how a single voice could be heard 60 yards away in a crowd of 16,000 screaming people? That's an absolutely insane claim. You wouldn't be able to talk to someone on a cell phone in that environment (I know, I've tried without success), much less hear a single word from someone 60 yards away. (4) 10TV doesn't have a 10PM newscast. (5) There is no mention of this at all on WBNS's website, which completely undermines the claim that they reported on it at all. I'm having a hard time finding words to describe my opinion of that blog and it's operator that wouldn't be considered offensive from some. "Go die in a fire" doesn't seem strong enough. What's wrong with just reporting the facts as they happened? The fact that some jackhole said that is bad enough, frankly, that it doesn't need embellishment by making up all kinds of bullshit to libel thousands of other Crew fans.
Funny how this thread died as soon as it was proven that Jade is a lying little rat and that her site is total bullshit.
As I've mentioned before, I don't respond well to people spreading libel about me. I won't rest until MLSRumor's reputation is where it belongs - in a smoldering mess.

The site is hosted on Blogger. Google states quite clearly that they will not take down allegedly defamatory information without a court order to do so (which, normally, I would applaud - except I have evidence that this is libel). However, I can approach advertisers, who will likely be far more willing to bail out quickly...
