Does anyone have a picture of the new Away jersey? I have seen a picture of it before; however, the quality was fairly poor.

I am hoping that it is blue and not gray as some pictures have portrayed it. I am largely unimpressed with the new Home jersey and am also hoping that the Away will be cool enough for me to justify purchasing.

    Thanks.

Yeah that shot of Dempsey is the only one I've seen, and it's been around for a while. Unless something's really messed up, that's navy.

Perhaps you're thinking of the new training gear. If you go to the photo archives at US Soccer and look at the training sessions from before the US-Mex game, you can tell that when they got the new training stuff, they got red shirts, navy shirts, and a dark grey or pewter colored shirt as well. Is that the one you're thinking of?

Any idea on when these get a run out and when they go on sale?

I would like to know when they go on sale as well? I am guessing that we will see them against England or Spain. Why would we waste the debut on Poland? Either that or our first WCQ. I would love it if someone could leak us this information.

I would expect it to debut vs. England as they'll be wearing white at home. Poland wear red so we can get away with wearing our whites.

England wore red vs Swiss at Wembley on Feb. 6 so you never know.

If that is actually the away kit, I'd spring for it long before the home kit.

i would like to see them wear red socks, or shorts with the blue shirt. I don't like how the jerseys have all been blue, white, blue.

onionbag is offering a presale for the away jersey. (similar to what they did with the home)

free n/n for the first 100.

    Tight.

I have always said white at home (I guess it is tradition now)

And the darkest blue possible almost black for away.

Of course my favorite since following the team was the Red v-neck from 2000-2001 WCQ.

Word up. I like the aways actually. Plain but classy.

Is it going to have a front number?

I hope they wear matching shorts and socks...I think the all navy would look good.

It wasn't "exactly as worn on the field" for the Home jersey, was it?

Sorry. I may have misread and misremembered some complaints 15 or so pages into this thread.

Just remember that it's only the name and numbers that are "exactly as worn on the field." The jersey is still a replica.

I want to get a Jozy shirt but he's being a little obnoxious with the numbers. 17 for Red Bull, 12 at the U20 WC, 9 against Mexico, 14 is being sold at some various websites. He needs to pick a damn number already so I can get a shirt.

Good loookin guys, just copped mine. I love the white shirt too, but I already have a Dempsey white in the old shirt (got the 8 shirt for the navy). I wanted to wait for Jozy or Freddy to get their permanent #s before I get the white one. They only offered 17 or something for Jozy and I wanted the 9 shirt he wore vs. Mexico.

I'm sure he'll end up with 9, Adu likely 11 until Donovan goes, but I just wanted to wait for sure. I hate having shirts with ********ed numbers.

The numbers are a little weird, but I went ahead and got a number 6 bradley home jersey. he wears six for his club team, and he wore it for the U 20's , but he has been wearing 4 for the nats. either way, the jersey looks awesome.

Man, I really want to take advantage of this price. I just can't spend that much on a shirt that I cannot see.
