Re: Turkey Super League 2007/2008 Champions: Only four clubs, also known as the "Big Four" have been champions since the beginning of the Premier Super League: Fenerbahçe SK (17), Galatasaray SK (16), Beşiktaş J.K. (12) and Trabzonspor (6). The first three, all Istanbul-based clubs, are known as Üç Büyükler (the Big Three in Turkish).

''there is 'more in' at the transfer market near soon.''... but just in case, As a current squads, Galatasaray,Fenerbahce and Besiktas are the favorites as always. Fenerbahce add Roberto Carlos, the most important sign for them. but, they lost most important star player of theyr squad. aka; Tuncay Sanli. Umit Ozat were the most ecperianced player in theyr squad alonside Rustu Recber ... and these two aswell leaved the club. by the season, I gues, they will miss thoes players... All in all, FB will play in CL too. I wonder what will be theyr Aim for this season. CL success...or League success. Galatasaray is the flash club in this season transfer market... very experianced coach Feldkamp sign for Galatasaray. alonside Brazilian play maker Casio Lincoln..and Sweden National team DM Tobias Linderoth and other new talent that they signed. Galatasaray is the most famous and populer club of Youth Academy. Every season few young talent move up for the A Senior Level Squad. Galatasaray has an amazing galatasaray origin young talents; Arda Turan,Sabri Sarioglu,Anil,Ozgurcan,Ferhat,Aydin etc... they add nice young talent from other club aswell.. ''by winning title''... but, this dosent mean, that they will goes to win every year... Iam sure, Fenerbahce will fight till end. to win this title after all long wait. Roberto Carlos will be the vital point of this game. Aswell Besiktas golie Rustu. If there will be a freekick, I gues Rustu will have hard time. As we know, in freekicks, he is not so strong. Re: Turkey Super League 2007/2008 Yeah I think with the teams both not so ready for the league, there might be some rough moments which might lead to freekicks, and of course Fener knowing this might be a breaking point in the game, they will most likely try to get in such positions. But there's also an undeniable offensive problem in Fenerbahce. Deivid is too passive to be playing with Kezman, and Semih is injured, and the newer transfers aren't really ready in my opinion. Gokhan Gonul on the other than is really going to do wonders in this game I'm thinking, if Onder isn't on the line up. This is how the lineup should be if you ask me: -----------------Serdar----------------- Onder(Gokhan)---Edu---Lugano---R.Carlos Ali Bilgin---Aurelio---Alex---Ugur(Wederson) ----------Kezman------Kazim(Semih)---------- Even though I think Onder is one of the best right backs in the Turkcell Super League, I think Zico should give Gokhan a chance in the second half in this game. Edu and Lugano are 2 of the biggest reasons why we are champions, so of course they are up there. R.Carlos' second game with the Fener jersey (first being the newly announced special game scheduled in Kadikoy) is going to be the perfect opportunity to show the Turkish people what kind of legend he is. I put Ali Bilgin on the right wing because he is a very fast player and very effective with wing attacks as we all saw when he was in Antalya. Alex is behind the forwards like always supplying Kezman with the beautiful assists, and I believe Ugur is going to be Fener's shining star on the right wing. All he needs is more opportunities from Zico, and he showed that in the matches at their Austria camp. I believe Deivid is uneffective in Fenerbahce because he isn't as aggressive as a forward should be. Kazim on the other hand is a physically strong player with good forward abilities. Perhaps he's the one aggressive helper Kezman needed and Fener looked for in Europe.
Re: Turkey Super League 2007/2008 Fener will miss Tuncay a lot i believe....And i heard there were a lot of fights in the dressing room lately for Fenerbahce...mostly with Kezman! i don't know what to expect but i think Besiktas will really show everyone what they can do...

Manchester City since 2 year , try to sign him. They went Istanbul two time..but Besiktas say NO to them. Watch this kid. 16 years old. @ According to sport press, Besiktas will transfer one or two player too... @The real shocker is; Galatasaray let four star player...necati ates,hasan kabze,cihan and orhan ak. I don't know a lot about the Turkish League (I know next to nothing about it at the moment outside the couple of BIG teams), however with one of my favourite players transfering to Genclerbirligi, I will be taking a keen interest this year and hope to learn a bit about Turkish Football. Now if only we had TV coverage, or even a highlights show here.
same think the turks are trying very hard to get a more popular league and are spending big bring in good players. Think its going to be a good season I sometimes use Goal.com and click to the turkey site but I cant understand any of the writing but I can always see the scores. I think the Turkish and Russian leagues are very good and up and coming leagues just need a little more media exposure but are on par with the dutch league.
