Olsen is the New Coach for Iraq

Olsen went to Amman (Jordan) to meet our FA President Hussain Saeed
Our FA will make a contract with Olsen to be Iraq coach in WAFF Championship and the Asian Cup 2007.

Who the heck is Olsen? Any one knows him?
His full name Egil Roger Olsen and he is from Norway

    kooora forums.

Thanks guys... he is now in Jordan
And... He didn't said yes or no yet
So we don't want to rush thins.

If he said yes... I hope his assistance will be Iraq
Because we know our players better than him.

Just read on kooora that Olsen will be coach for next month and that he'll get 15,000 € for every month.

  13. Yep, see I knew the Olsen deal wasn't confirmed yet.

Here's some info on the Brazilian coach:

  14. Maybe Bonizzoni can give us more info on this man? :)

    I have a feeling he's a very average coach.

The last team he coached was the Malaysian U-20 team.

Nah, lets see how he'll do in Lebanon next month. Though I have to say that Iraqs chances of getting something in the Asian Cup are getting minimal.

  21. Seriously, just send Yehya Alwan's Olympic team and integrate our main NT stars and we're good to go. They can take us to the quarterfinals and that's about it, a decent result.

Guys I checked up about the Brazilian Coach
    It turned that he is really good;
he made a great results for a weak team like Al-Tai
Before breaking up with Al-Tai (Problems with Al-Tai President)

    3 Wins
    Al-Tai 4-2 Al-Shabab
    Al-Tai 4-2 Al-Ahli
    Al-Faisaly 0-2 Al-Tai

    1 Draw
    Al-Tai 3-3 Al-Qadisya (Al-Tai got 2 sent off)

    2 Loses
    Al-Hilal 3-2 Al-Tai
    Al-Ittihad 3-2 Al-Tai

  24. Good attack, bad defense. :D
