i heard the bruin's playing for the ventura team are jason leopoldo, greg folk, chance myers, and branden owens for sure. i think one more but i'm not sure who it is. also heard that the farfan twins are on the team, or at least on the roster. if these guy's team up with ucsb's kids it'll a pretty sweet team.
Ventura just announced the bulk of its team, naming mostly just the locally based and international players which might annoy Sandon: * Mark Draycott from England * John Massaquoi from Liberia * Adzemian brothers who were born in Armenia * Jason Leopoldo and Chance Myers of Thousand Oaks * Farfan twins (great friends of Avila) * Danny and Diego Barrera of TO Anyway, lots of brothers on this team. Would be funny if the Curry brothers from UCSB also were on the team. For a first year, PDL team, they have assembled a remarkable roster and have a coaching staff that has incredible credentials. Isn't their president the head of CalSouth ODP, Steven Hoffman? Or at least that's who I heard was in charge of that PDL team. Coach Hoffman would know many of these players as they came through his ODP system or are still there. Danny Barrera is a U-17 '90 I believe.

He's from northern California so if he's going home for the summer and playing PDL he would probably be playing for San Jose or Fresno Fuego. He's not listed on either roster yet. Who knows?, maybe hes playing NPSL?
can't confirm this but a couple of ucla players who play for the ventura county fusion say that sal's father said he was in barcalona this past week and will be there until he travels to meet up with the u-20's when they host argentina. don't know what teams he's been working out for either.
